House System
According to the guidelines provided by CBSE, every student of the school from classes I to XII is placed in one of the houses.
Each house is headed by a House Incharge (Teacher), House Captain and House Prefect. Every faculty member is also part of one or the other house.
Inter-house competitions are organised as per the activity calendar to develop wholesome competitive spirit, fellow feeling, bonding, responsibility, discipline and above all wave off inhibition.
There are four Houses named after great martyrs. The thought process working after allotting these names is to acquaint every student with the sacrifices of such martyrs whose contribution helped us to breathe in the free air after breaking shackles of slavery.
Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad House
1906 – 1931
He was a prominent fearless revolutionary youth for the commitment to one free motherland being captured by the British Police.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh House
1907 —1931
The children belonging to this house are inspired about his great martyrdom which lead us to world leadership. He awarded the best medal to be crowned by Dalit Jagannath Bajpai in challenge nationwide activity. He dedicated the world to see best execution as a world’s patriotic icon.
Shaheed Udham Singh House
1899-1940
This great martyr is best known for assassinating Michael Dr. O’Dwyer (former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab) In London on March 18, 1940 to avenge Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919.
Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha House
1896–1915
The students placed in this house feel inspired by this leading young revolutionary who laid down his life at the altar of independence at a very tender age.
